A statement showing the names of candidates who have been permitted by the CGDA New Delhi to appear in SAS Part-I Examination scheduled to be held from 25th to 30th September’2014 (No examination on 27th & 28th September 2014) and their Roll Numbers along with the centre at which they have to appear for the above examination is enclosed as Annexure ”A” & “B”. The examination will be held at “MULTIPURPOSE HALL PAO (ORs)AOC, SECUNDERABAD”.
2. Statement showing the Roll Numbers of the candidates belonging to other Organisation and have been permitted to appear at Secunderabad Centre, and candidates who are serving in CDA, Secunderabad permitted to appear in Hyderabad Centre is enclosed as Annexure “B”.
3. Roll Numbers, centre of examination and other details as mentioned in the Part II O.O. should be communicated to all the concerned individuals including those who are on leave/deputation/ attachments and his/her acknowledgement obtained and recorded at your end.
4. The candidates should be present in the Examination Hall HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE EXAMINATION in each paper so that they can complete the required details on the Question Booklets as well as Answer Sheets by filling the relevant columns.
5. The candidates who have opted for appearing in the centres other than the nearest centres to their duty station at their own request/ recommended by CDA would not be entitled for Traveling allowance. The change of centres on personal ground shall not be accepted in any case. Further, accommodation will be provided to outstation candidates, if available. Candidates are advised to forward their request for accommodation to AN III Section, CDA, Secunderabad.(Fax no. 27817275, 27810499). AS per Rule 6 a candidate who has qualified the Preliminary Test but absents or withdraws his candidature from SAS Part I examination following immediately will be required to re-qualify in the Preliminary Test for eligibility to appear in SAS Examination. Further, as per SAS Rule 14(b), each permission to appear in SAS Part I or Part II examination will count as one chance against the respective part, whether he/she actually sits for the examination or not unless he/she is specifically allowed to withdraw his/her name by the CGDA. In accordance with the ibid proviso read with SAS Rule 14(d) withdrawal of the candidate not submitted with in laid down time period would count as a chance. It may be clarified that as per decision of MoD(Fin), withdrawal of a candidate on medical ground after commencement of examination would also count as a chance. As such failure to appear in this examination by way of absenteeism or medical ground after commencement of examination will entail forfeiture of one of the four valuable chances allowed to candidates as per revised SAS Rules. The no’s of chances availed by the candidates have also accordingly been mentioned in the remarks column against each candidate. It is further clarified that under no circumstances request for withdrawal in respect of candidates availing special chance will be accepted. This may be brought to notice of all candidates.
6. In order to ensure transparency & fair conduct of Examination, it has been decided by the competent authority to Video-graph the proceedings of each day of SAS Part I Examination September, 2014. This may be brought to notice of all the candidates.
7. All the candidates appearing the examination may be directed to bring their Identity cards for verification on the day of the examination.
