Let the Fire Fall

At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord-He is God! The Lord-He is God!”1 Kings 18:36-39

In younger days I had the great privilege of viewing the Firefall in Yosemite National Park. For those fortunate enough to attend this spectacle, a sizeable fire was built on the edge of Glacier Point, 3000 feet above the floor of the valley. At 9PM every night a voice would rise from below, “Let the Fire Fall!” Smoldering embers were pushed over the rim of the canyon and fell over a half-mile. The sight was breathtaking, as rushing air would illuminate the rapidly cascading coals. Glowing cinders flowed in a brilliantly burning Firefall, streaming towards earth like liquid flames, piercing the darkness.

A couple years back my wife and I attended a church service at the high place on Mount Carmel, most likely the very same site where Elijah called down heaven’s fire. The preacher related the encounter between the resurrected Yeshua and the unsuspecting Mary Magdalene in the Garden of Gethsemane. He voiced Mary’s revelation, “He’s alive!” Instantly a bolt of lightning and simultaneous thunderclap struck outside the church illuminating and shaking the auditorium, as rain began to pour down. Covered with goosebumps, we rejoiced in this miraculous manifestation of God’s presence.

My prayer is, by faith, you will call down fire in the midst of your life. That you would “Let the Fire Fall” and cry,“The Lord-He is God! The Lord-He is God!”

The Lord is preparing His Kingdom for an outpouring of His Holy Spirit. Be assured that The Holy Spirit will not sit by idly as the enemy of our souls seeks to corrupt humanity. Get ready. Be ready. Stand ready. The confrontation between darkness and light has already begun to be illuminated by the Glory of the Living God as He pours out His Spirit over our world. The Third Awakening is at hand.

When First Fruits are given unto the Lord, the Fire Falls. The Majestic Glory of God’s Holy Fire is presently descending upon our own Mount of Transfiguration. It falls upon Elijah. It falls upon Mary. It falls upon those with the faith to call down His Holy Fire.

Let the Fire Fall!
