Youth Justice. The Geelong Inter-Church Social Justice Network now has a short video of its recent Seminar ‘Youth Justice. What Works for a Safer Geelong’ on its website socialjusticegeelong.org.au/ youth-justice-what-works-for- a-safer-geelong/The video promotes the five resolutions endorsed by the seminar, key messages from speakers, and concludes with over 50 ideas submitted by the audience for improving the youth justice system in Geelong. A Regional Action Plan is necessary in order to garner the ‘whole of community effort’ that is required to meet this ‘whole of community problem’ in relation to young people who offend. This includes the need for earlier intervention involving investment by Government and an integrated response across a number of Government Departments.
