STIRLING SHOW INFORMATION AND PERMISSION SLIP

WHAT SHOW YOUR CHILD IS IN

All children who attend the above classes will perform in the 3pm and 630pm shows on SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY at the MacRobert Arts Centre, Stirling. Please ensure you buy tickets for the correct show.

WHAT YOUR CHILD SHOULD WEAR

All ballet, tap, modern and jazz costumes are hired. The hire charge no matter how many dances is £15 per dancer.

Your child needs to have their own shoes and tights for the show

Ballet – Pink ballet shoes with elastic across the instep and tan dance tights (Sat G1&2 and do not need tights for ballet)

Tap – black tap shoes and tan dance tights

Modern & jazz – G1 and G2 –bare feet G3+ jazz tights and tan dance tights

Acro – Class uniform of purple leotard and shorts

Street & Commercial – tshirt £10 to buy.

You will need to supply the rest of costume in the following colours –

Sat 1245pm and Wed 4pm class - black, silver and yellow

Sat 230pm class - black, silver and orange

Tues 645pm class - black, silver and pink

Tues730pm class black, silver and turquoise

INFORMATION ABOUT THE DRESS REHEARSAL ON FRIDAY 23RD FEBRUARY

The dress rehearsal is compulsory. It will take place on from 5pm, timetables will be given out in the new year.

PHOTOGRAPHS and DVDS

SUNDAY 28TH AND MONDAY 29th JANUARY there will be a photo call for all pupils who wish to have a class photo and individual photo taken. There will also be photographs taken during the dress rehearsal which can be purchased and may be used for publicity.

There will be a DVD made of the show available for purchase for £15. You will be able to order these for the three weeks after the show and they will ready for collection after the Easter holidays.

TICKETS (£12Adult £8 Concession/children)

ON SALE FROM FRIDAY 1ST DECEMBER AND CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED FROM THE MACROBERT on 01786 466 666 Mon to Sun – 10am to 7pm or online. Tickets are non-refundable. We realise some families will have dancers in different shows, there are discounts if you buy tickets for a junior show and main show at the same time.

I understand that they must attend the dress rehearsal and classes every week except in the case of illness/holidays when the school will be informed. By taking part in 'ICON' I give permission for the pupil to be included in photographs/videos of rehearsals and performances. These may be used for publicity and display purposes.
