Premier Division League Cup GroupA- Great Baddow Res. put up a good show against Braintree, after leading 1-0 at the break, they went down 4-2. Scorers for Braintree were Isaac Aubynn, Freddie Harle (2), and Steve Bennett.
Group B-Pro Athletic had a 4-0 victory over visitors Emeronians for their first win in the Group.
League – L.Mac Spartans beat visitors Gt. Leighs 4-1 to move up to second spot six points behind leaders Braintree & Bocking.
Division One - Brentwood Utd. stay top with a 2-1Local Derby win over Brentwood Ath., they are also unbeaten this season. Jonathan Baker scoring for the visitors.
AAH. Romford are level at the top after a 4-3 win over Cook and O’Rourke, Dan Elsey, Rob Smethurst and Phil May scoring and O’Rourke.
Writtle had a good 5-3 win over visitors Sandon Royals who were 2-0 down at half-time. Haydn Walters and George Robinson on as a sub scoring 2 had put out the visitors back in the game.
Aveley Res. won 4-3 at Haver Town with goals from Jack Harris, Michael Dowding, Lee Mulholland and Liam
Stannard.
Division Two – Leaders CT.66 Res. completed a quick double over rivals Hutton A, winning 2-1, the same score as last weeks’ game. Matt Hubbard and Aaron Sibthorpe for the winners.
Dunmow Rhodes moved up to fourth spot with a 4-1 home win over Writtle Res.
Division Three – Durning kept up their improvement with a 3-0 win over White Notley Res. Joe Gregory 2 and Christian Lipman, the Visitors were 1 down at the interval.
Ryan Wilson was Broomfield’s soccer in an 8-1 defeat by second placed Notley.
Braintree & Bocking Res. went down at home to Writtle Manor 3-1, Manor were 2-1 ahead at half time Shaun Clifford for Braintree.
Division Four– Broomfield Res. had a very good 2-1 win over leaders Beaulieu Park. A goal each at half-time, Lorne Salandy and Rhys Williams for the winners.
Felsted Rovers Res. beat Brentwood Untd. a 3-2 to go into second spot, 4 goals were shared at half-time.Shane Benham and 2 from Josh Lucas for the winners.
Leaders Gosfield Utd. Res. beat Silver End Res. 5-0. Alex Greaves (2), Adam Smith, James Symms and Brady Caterwell scoring.
Kelvedon Social ‘A’ won the bottom of the table clash with Emerson Untd. 5-1. Dan Reeve (2), Aran Saltmarsh, Shaun Riley and sub Louis Sheppard netting.
