PART 3. FIRST AID PROCEDURES

3.1 INHALATION

Move victim to fresh air and consult a physician immediately.

3.2 EYE CONTACT

Remove contact lenses (if any), immediately irrigate the eyes for at least 15 minutes with fresh water from an emergency eyewash station. After irrigation of the eyes, get medical attention as soon as possible.

3.3 SKIN CONTACT

Most skin contact can be remedied by flushing the exposed area with water using any means, including a safety shower. Dermal contact with hot solution should be brought to the attention of a physician as soon after contact as possible.

3.4 INGESTION

It is unlikely that a toxic amount will be ingested, as the toxicity of this product is low. However, in any case of ingestion, consult with a physician and provide the health hazard information in this MSDS. Have the physician contact Wonders of Water for ingredient identification, if necessary. This product is believed to be low in toxicity and there is no specific antidote. PART 4. FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES/FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES

4.1 FLASH POINT

The flash point of this product has not been tested, but is believed to be greater than 200º F, based upon the flash points of the ingredients and the fact that it is a water based mixture.

4.2 FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURE

Water spray, dry chemical or foam may be used with any fire near this material or involving residues from this product.

4.3 SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES

In the event that the material is heated to dryness, the residues will be combustible and will release toxic fumes. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing in combating a fire of this type.

Do not aim a stream of water or foam directly into hot, burning pools of residuals from this product, as this may cause frothing and intensify the fire.

4.4 HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS

RP40 is an 80-90% water mixture. In the event of total water evaporation from the concentrate or leakage of the concentrate into independently fueled open flame(s), the chief organic constituents could be heated to a combustion temperature.

As with any organic molecule free of nitrogen, oxidized organic carbon compounds as a result of high heat typically associated with an open flame are possible. As with any combustion products, do not breathe any volatile combustion by-products. Cyanide is NOT a possible byproduct of any RP40 combustion. The products of combustion are similar to any burning carbon compound.

4.5 UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS

If the liquid is evaporated to form dry solid, the dry solid will be combustible.
