Abubaseer.Bizland.com: Based in the United Kingdom, this is a website belonging to the Islamist cleric Abu Basir al Tartousi. The Investigative Project on Terrorism reports that on this website, al Tartousi “offers archives of his publications, books, articles, fatwas, questions and answers. Many of Abu Basir’s publications are comments upon recent events taking place in society, both in the Middle East and in the West, and in particular Britain, where he resides.”
Albasrah.net: This website supports the jihad in Iraq, and its Internet Service Provider is nodo50, based in the Madrid, Spain.
Al-Ekhlaas.net: Based in Malaysia, this jihadist website posted an audio message eulogizing Abu Hurairah, a former commander with the Lebanon-based terror group Fath Al-Islam, who had recently died in battle. It also posted a statement by the al Qaeda-founded “Islamic State of Iraq,” in which that organization claimed responsibility for the assassination of 'Abd Al-Sattar Abu Risha – on grounds that he allegedly had collaborated with Americans and the Al-Maliki government of Iraq.
Al-Furqan: This Iraq-based website posted an audio message by Abu Omar Al-Baghdadi (Emir of the al Qaeda-founded “Islamic State of Iraq,” or ISI) accusing Iraqi Kurds of apostasy; it also posted a video showing the ISI’s execution of 14 kidnapped Iraqi officers.
Almanar.com: This Hezbollah website’s network access is provided by Groupe iWeb Technologies, based in Canada. Its domain name registrar is LB Domain Registry, based in Lebanon.
Almedad.com: Hosted by the United Kingdom-based company BT-Wholesale, this is the website of Abu Qatada Al-Falastini (aka Omar Mahmoud Abu Omar), a Palestinian Jordanian who has been detained in Britain since 2005 on suspicion of having ties to al Qaeda. The site’s objective is to encourage and foment terrorism against non-Muslims.
Al-NusraAl-Jihadiyya: This is a jihadist website based in Lebanon. In August 2007 it posted an announcement, titled “The Martyrs Keep Marching On,” that its webmaster had been killed in Lebanon.

InhiyarAl-Dolar: This organization’s website is devoted to electronic jihad. In 2007 MEMRI reported: “Alongside military jihad, which has been gaining momentum and extracting an ever growing price from many countries around the globe, Islamists have been developing a new form of warfare, termed ‘electronic jihad,’ which is waged on the Internet. … Islamist hackers do not operate as isolated individuals, but carry out coordinated attacks against websites belonging to those whom they regard as their enemies. … [Their ultimate goal is to] cause the capitalist West to collapse.”
IntiqadOnline.com: This Hezbollah website’s network access is provided by Syrian Telecommunications Establishment in Syria. Its domain name registrar is

Iraqipa.net: This Islamist website posts videos and messages by jihad organizations in Iraq. Its Internet Service Provider is Surftowndk, based in Lyngby, Denmark.
Jaami.info: This is the website of the Islamic Front of Iraqi Resistance (IFIR), an insurgent group that supports the jihad in Iraq. The site’s Internet Service Provider is Schlund-Customers, based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
JihadUnspun.com: This Canada-based jihadist website was launched on April 21, 2002. Its stated mission is to present uncensored reporting of America’s war on terrorism, focusing especially on information of Middle Eastern origin that reflects what JihadUnspun depicts as the Muslim point of view that tends to be ignored by the mainstream press. Jihad Unspun’s articles generally condemn American foreign policy and military interventions, particularly in Muslim countries. The website is owned and operated by a Canadian publishing entrepreneur and Muslim convert named Khadija Abdul Qahaar (also known by the pen names Bev Kennedy and Paul Morris-Read).
Moqavemat.ir: This Hezbollah website’s network access is provided by Datacommunications Co. of Iran. Its domain name registrar is the NICIR, based in Iran.
Mu'askar Al-Battar (“Camp of the Sword”): Launched in 2004, this is al Qaeda’s online military magazine, published by the Military Committee of the Mujahideen (an al Qaeda organization) in Saudi Arabia. The Investigative Project on Terrorism reports that this publication how “in order to join the great training camps you don’t have to travel to other lands.”
Muhajiroon.com: Based in the United Kingdom, this is the official website of Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, founder of the extreme Islamist group Al-Muhajiroun. The Investigative Project on Terrorism reports “This site reflects Omar Bakri’s views, but contains other sheikhs’ works as well as his own. … It is worth mentioning that shortly after the London bombings in July 2005, Bakri was banned from Britain and he lives today in exile in Beirut, Lebanon. However, Bakri is still active, using Internet sermons, recordings, videos and the Paltalk chat network to communicate with his followers in Britain and elsewhere.”
Muntadaa: In December 2006, this United Kingdom-based, pro-al Qaeda website issued a call to British Muslims to travel to Somalia and fight alongside Islamist forces that were under attack by Ethiopian troops and their Somali allies. The message read: “The Ethiopians with full international support (from the Christian crusader regimes) and directly backed by illegitimate Israel (Zionists) have violated the blood of the Muslims in Somalia. By committing such an act of terrorism the Muslims in Somalia and nearby lands have responded to the divine call of Jihad. The obligation of supporting the Jihad all over the world (including Somalia) is Fard Ayn (an individual obligation).”
Qmagreb.org: In September 2007, this Malaysia-based jihadist website posted an announcement claiming responsibility for a suicide bombing that had wounded two “French Crusaders” in Algeria.
Shmo5alislam.com: In the fall of 2007, this Malaysia-based forum (of Shumoukh Al-Islam) posted a video showing mujahideen firing a new missile called the Al-Zarqawi-2 on a U.S. base in Iraq.
Tajdeed.org.uk: Hosted by Fasthosts-UK-Network, this United Kingdom-based jihadist website studies and translates self-critiques by Western analysts who point out areas of weakness and tension in U.S.-led counter-terrorism strategy; by so doing, Tajdeed seeks to exploit weaknesses and give a psychological boost to jihadists.
