Agenda Item / Discussion / Action / Who/Deadline
  1. Working Matrix
/ Meeting began at 1:00pm
We see the need for differentiation
  • Alternative schools need differentiated support, feel excluded if under 100 students

  1. Diversity Equity Lens
/ Are we a multi-disciplinary peer group? Is that a requirement for us?
  • No, the entire consolidated team (over 60 members) covers that requirement
Students needs are different in different schools
Diversity in schools gaps in income not in race or ethnicity
  1. Law
/ Process framework for identified schools needs to be generic enough that districts can access and use it…. Need to use same framework
  • no coherence in struggling schools, they are all on different plans/systems
  • some use Indistar, some use other tools
Think about smaller districts
  • Regional ESD has small districts/schools do not have the capacity to work for the 3 years
  • Needs differentiated system

  1. Process Recommendation
/ 2/3 majority to push proposal
Dana, Lorna, Rich, Michael Stone working together
  1. Possible Interventions
