Dear Fifth/Sixth Grade Families,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. We look forward to having your student in either our fifth or sixth grade classes here at Wood Ranch Elementary.

Because our supply budget will not support all the activities we have planned for this year, we are seeking the voluntary donation of supplies which your child can utilize throughout the year.

Recommended individual student supplies:

·  One small pencil box (approx. 8x5x2)

·  One pair student scissors

·  One box colored pencils (24)

·  One box colored markers

·  One box crayons

·  One 1/2inch three ring binder

·  Five Plastic Pocket Folders (with fasteners)

One of each color: red, blue, green, yellow, and purple

·  Five Spiral notebooks to match color folders (red, blue, green, yellow, and purple)

We also have needs for classroom supplies which are utilized by all of our students and we would greatly appreciate your voluntary donations.

Classroom supplies:

·  Dry Erase Pens-wide tip

·  One package of wide-ruled notebook paper (200 sheets)

·  One or two reams of white copy paper

·  One package of glue sticks

·  One package ¼” graph paper

·  Facial Tissue

Should you prefer to make a monetary donation, you can make a donation designating your gift be used specifically for either the fifth or sixth grade classroom supplies. Cash or check can be accepted. Please make checks payable to Wood Ranch Elementary School.

Please allow us to thank you in advance for your support. Your donations allow us to provide your child with additional experiences which will enhance their education. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Fifth and Sixth Grade Team is looking forward to meeting you and your child on the first day of school, which is Wednesday, August 17th. School begins promptly at 8:00 am. Dismissal is at 2:09 pm.
