Installation Instructions

TOOLS REQUIRED:

Razor Knife

10mm Socket

13mm Socket

Ratchet

Phillip’s Screwdriver

1.  Disconnect negative battery cable.

2.  Remove driver’s side inner fender cover. It does not need to be completely removed from the car, just enough to gain access to the rubber grommet.

3.  Locate the factory grommet behind the inner fender cover on driver’s side. Find the unused hole a in the grommet and make a slice using a razor knife. Fig. 1

4.  Remove the driver’s side kick panel, and sill plate. Fig. 2

5.  Connect the power harness to the positive battery terminal and route the harness in front of the battery and into the fender well above the inner fender cover. Pass harness through the factory grommet, and into the driver’s side kick panel. DO NOT have the fuse in at this time. Fig. 3

6.  Remove the 4 small black covers on the factory radio to gain access to the radio removal key locations. Using the radio removal keys slide the radio out of the dash. Fig. 4

7.  Mount the amplifier under the driver’s front seat using the Velcro attached to the bracket.

8.  Connect the body harness to the amplifier and route the harness from under the driver’s front seat up to the radio location. Connect the female end of the harness to the factory harness and the male end of the harness to the radio. Fig. 5

9.  Ground the Black wire on the 4.1 harness to the existing ground location in the driver’s kick panel. Insert the power wire from the battery into the supplied two pin connector and plug it into the 4.1 harness. Fig. 7

10.  Re-install all previously removed parts in reverse order.

11.  Insert fuse in fuse holder

12.  Reconnect negative battery cable.

Important!

Subwoofer system will only operate if optional amplifier upgrade (Kit # 77KCK054) has been previously installed.

13.  Disconnect negative battery cable.

14.  Remove the driver’s side kick panel, and sill plate. Fig. 1

15.  Remove the bottom of the back seat by removing the two bolts holding it in place. Fig. 2

Important!

If vehicle is equipped with optional WiFi module, the module will need to be disconnected and removed to allow subwoofer to mount.

16.  Connect the two pin connector of the subwoofer harness to the two pin connector of the amplifier harness. Route the subwoofer harness from the amplifier location, down the driver’s side door sill to the driver’s side trunk area.

17.  Plug in subwoofer and wrap the connectors with the supplied foam strips to prevent rattles. Fig. 3

18.  Sit the enclosure in place on top of a sheet of paper or plastic bag to prevent the Velcro from engaging prematurely.

19.  Use the factory screw at the top of the enclosure to secure the enclosure in place. While applying firm pressure to the front of the enclosure, slide the paper or bag out from underneath the enclosure. The Velcro should engage the carpet securing the bottom of the enclosure. Fig. 4

20.  Re-install all previously removed parts in reverse order.

21.  Reconnect negative battery cable
