MINUTES

The meeting was held at 4425 N. Market St. Wilmington, DE. A quorum of the Board was present for the meeting. Present: Elmer L. Newlin, Chairman of the Board, Vance G. Daniels Sr., Beverly Bell, Taube Carpenter, and Donald Dryden. Also present were Carey Cross, Deputy Attorney General and Counsel to the Board, and Monica Baker and Tanishia Stewart, Board Secretaries.

THE FOLLOWING CASES WERE HEARD BY THE BOARD:

Chad Sturgeon v. JP Morgan Chase - AD # 20830149

Present: Chad Sturgeon, claimant; Margie Perry, agency representative. A motion was made by Mr. Daniels, and seconded by Mrs. Bell. The Board moved to affirm the referee in the finding of fraud. All members agreed.

Stephen Rov v. Tristar Mgmt - AD # 10818732

Present: Eleanor Meals, employer representative, Doug Player, employer witness. Although duly notified, the claimant Stephen Roy failed to appear. A motion was made by Mr. Dryden, and seconded by Mrs. Carpenter. The Board moved to dismiss. All members agreed.

Kepha Nvamwanae v. Chimes Metro - AD # 20823267

A postponement was requested by the claimant's attorney and the request was approved by the Board Chairman.

Philip Rhodes v. New Castle County - AD # 20824942

A postponement was requested by the claimant's attorney and the request was approved by the Board Chairman.

Jacob Getty v. Colonial School District-AD # 10820501

A postponement was requested by the claimant's attorney and the request was approved by the Board Chairman.

Darrvl Moll Jr v. Wal Mart - AD # 20834238

Although duly notified, the claimant Darry Moll Jr. failed to appear. Although duly notified, the employer Wal Mart also failed to appear. A motion was made by Mr. Dryden, and seconded by Mrs. Carpenter. The Board moved to dismiss. All members agreed.

Joanne Kemp v. Masonic Home of Delaware - AD # 10832782

Present: Joanne Kemp, claimant; Cynthia DePue Esq., claimant's attorney; Michelle Domenici, employer representative; Sue Smith, employer representative; Tamara Jones, employer witness. A motion was made by Mr. Dryden, and seconded by Mr. Daniels. The Board moved to reverse the referee and award benefits. All members agreed.

Laura Patterson v. Red Clay School District - AD # 20831248

Present: Laura Patterson, claimant; Dwayne Quillen, observing; Susan Carpenter, employer representative; Geoffrey Grivner Esq., employer's attorney. A motion was made by Mr. Daniels, and seconded by Mrs. Bell. The Board moved to affirm the referee and deny benefits. Mr. Dryden and Mr. Newlin agreed. Mrs. Carpenter opposed.

Tanva Brown v. Coventry Management - AD # 20838630

Present: Tanya Brown, claimant. Although duly notified, the employer Coventry Management failed to appear. A motion was made by Mr. Daniels, and seconded by Mr. Dryden. The Board moved to reverse the referee and award benefits. All members agreed.

Paul Mwangi v. JP Morgan Chase - AD # 20835841

A postponement was requested by the claimant and the request was approved by the Board Chairman.
