Course Summary: / This one day course is the foundation to all presentations of statistical information. The basic principles of presenting information in tables, charts, maps and text are explained. These are illustrated and then reinforced through practical exercises.

Target Audience:
/ The course is for anyone who is involved in communicating statistics to non-statisticians or who reports on data – of any description – within organisation, to specific communities and to the general public where a message is being given.
Knowledge Assumed:
/ It is not necessary to be a statistician as no formulae are presented.
Course
Format:
/ The day will be a mix of presentation, tuition and exercises which all reinforce the communication message.
The course will be classroom tutorial format with group breakout sessions.
Registration begins at 09.30 and the course runs from 10.00 until 16.30.
