MUFTI DAY and SAUSAGE SIZZLE
SUPPORTING THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSION FOR REFUGEES

On Wednesday 25 June 2014, the Prefects will be holding a MUFTI Day and Sausage Sizzle to raise funds in support of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). They have set a target amount of $1140 which would provide education for six children for a year.
Students are encouraged to wear to school clothing reflecting the ‘World Cup Soccer’ theme. Students must wear closed-in footwear. Appropriate casual clothing will be permitted. Bare midriffs, singlet tops and clothing with inappropriate slogans will not be permitted. Enclosed leather shoes must be worn during practical lessons such as Science, Industrial Arts and Home Economics. Students who choose to wear MUFTI will be expected to make a gold coin donation in support of the UNHCR when collections are taken up in classrooms during Period 1. Sausage sandwiches will be available for sale at lunchtime in the bell quad.
