Weave is a particular style or manner in which something is woven.

In Room 25 we explored and created some crafts by weaving. We were able to use both flax and paper.

We started off with creating a few colourful stars by inter-weaving long strips of colourful paper. After making stars, we tried our best to create some constellations of stars as seen in the sky. We ended up with all sorts of animal looking constellations. It was a lot of fun.

We also managed to weave some paper and flax balls, mats and flowers. It was fun weaving paper and flax to create various kinds of crafts when we celebrated Matariki as well as Te Reo Maori week.
