Women’s Wellbeing Weekend

Participant Information

Welcome to the Well Being Women’s Weekend – we’re really pleased that you will be joining us. This sheet contains all the practical information you’ll need – hopefully!

Where? 17 Fulton Close, Harwood Park, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 2HA

Close to M42, M5 and A38 with Bromsgrove train station about 10 minutes’ walk away. The house has a driveway that we can use, or there is plenty of on road free parking in Drummond Road opposite. Please be aware of access for other houses in this residential area. Ideally, car sharing is greener, saves money and provides company, so if you want to share, let me know & I can link people together.

Timings

Friday: You are welcome to arrive from 4.00 p.m. Soup will be served at 7.00 p.m. with a plan to be sitting in our opening circle at 8.00p.m.

Sunday: Closing Circle will be at 3.00p.m. ready for departure at 4.00p.m.

Food & Drink

All main meals will be provided - breakfast, lunch, evening meal with limited snacks, fruit, seeds, nuts* There will be a range of teas, coffee, herbal drinks, juice, milk, soya.

If you like a particular brand or type of drink/food – please bring it with you. Food will be vegetarian, but if you have specific requirements/allergies*, we’ll need to know that in advance. Also, if you are on a very specific diet you will need to be prepared to self-cater. This is a weekend for you, so bring what you need but be aware that it’s best to avoid excess.

Comfort

There are shared bedroom spaces for sleeping, two loos and one shower. There are mattresses for everyone and one single bed if you need to be above floor level. Please bring your own bedding, something to sleep on, pillow or cushion and a towel. If you have space constraints or are travelling on public transport I can provide quilts & bedding if needed, but you’ll need to let me know in advance if you’d like to use these.

There are sheepskins, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer & a wrap or blanket so that you are warm and comfortable when working. The area is residential, but there are parks if you are a walker or runner & we may go out, so bring what you think you’ll need to be comfortable in. There is some outside space, so we can have a fire.

What do you need to bring?

  • Loose comfortable clothing that you can relax in
  • Blanket or wrap to use during relaxation.
  • Your own bedding and a towel
  • A journal/ notebook to write down your experience/ thoughts
  • Willingness to explore!
