How to choose the music you would like to include in your final production

General info

First of all, I just want to make it clear that I am specifically talking about music to be used for montage sections of your production and as transitions between different sections of the production. The “real” music and sound from the event will, of course, be heard as well.

I typically need 4-6 slow or medium tempo instrumentals and 2-3 fast instrumentals. I also need 3-5 songs with lyrics, unless, of course, you only want instrumentals. The music is very critical to the feeling/style of the production, so choose music that reflects you! Please supply music on a CD. I will not necessarily use all of the selections, so if there are some songs that you want to make sure are included, please indicate that clearly. It is very helpful if you prioritize your music list.

Keep in mind that there are many different types of instrumentals…sax, piano, acoustic guitar, harp, classical, movie score, to name a few.

Method 1 - You choose all the music

Method 2 - I choose all the music based on your input. I am always happy to make these decisions, but remember that if you choose this option, you are left with my final creative decisions. In the editing process, great amounts of time and care are given to matching the tempo, mood, beat, and lyrics of the song to the video in a creative and stylized fashion. Therefore, if you relinquish the musical choices to Silver Star, any changes will be charged for, because of the great amount of time takes to rework the song. Method 3- You choose some of the songs and I choose the rest.
