China Energy Society and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) are pleased to announce the 2011 International Conference on Materials for Renewable Energy and Environment, co-sponsored byAustralian Technology Network (ATN) and to be held in Shanghai,China, May, 20-22, 2011, in which international hot and difficult issues in terms of development of renewable energy and comprehensive ecological improvement.. The conference is guided by the related experts from Ministry of Science and Technology of People's Republic of China, Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering, and also supported by many other institutions domestic, such as Tsinghua University, University of Science & Technology Beijing, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Bejing Institution of Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology and so on. The conference agenda includes: keynote lectures, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, etc.A number of world well-known experts will participate in the conference and present interesting talks, including director of NM Center of Georgia Institute of Technology, Professor Wang Zhonglin, foreign academician of Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Ben Wang of president of Advanced Material Academe of Florida State University, Professor Furlong, former vice-president of RMIT University. Researchers, teachers and students, industrial managersfrom all over the world are welcomed to attend the conference.Relevant issues are hereby notified as follows:

About the papers:
1. Manuscripts should be written in English and in Word version higher than Microsoft Word 2000, and no more than5 pages, which should be informative and have clarity, accuracy, simplicity, and have not been published previously. Each author group of accepted papers will receive one set of the printed proceedings for free. And each author will get a CD of the proceedings for free.
2. The authors should submit electronic version.The basic information of the author should be attached in a separate page including: name, sex, date of birth, work unit, address, postcode, phone number (home phone and mobile phone), and e-mail address.
3.Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Document Template. Copyright will be transferred to the Conference uponacceptanceof the paper.
4.Accepted papers will be published by Scientific Research Publishing, who should deliver the published papers to EI for full-text retrieval later. And the EI retrieval fee is 2825 ￥per paper. Additionally 450￥/page will be charged to papers of over five pages. (Authors attending the conference can enjoy a preference of 225￥/paper.)
5. Manuscripts Submission Deadline：Feb.10, 2011 for the first batch and Mar.10, 2011 for the second batch.
