BABY PUPPY DOG
1. ARAJENTO POWER PLAY
Very appealing down to size puppy with lovely expression, good reach of neck, a little short in upper arm, good depth of chest, correct slope of croup and long low set tail, short hocks and good overall body balance.
MINOR PUPPY DOG
1. NIGHTWOOD NO STEPPIN NMY SHOES
Correct size well balanced young dog with good head planes, correct shape well set eyes and pleasing expression although I would prefer a little more underjaw. Excellent forequarter construction, good topline, deep chest and nice slope of croup with correct tail set. A little uneasy in hind movement on the day.
PUPPY DOG
1. AMBERMOON HEAR ME ROAR
Stunning young masculine dog in full puppy bloom, beautiful head qualities and expression, good reach of neck, well angulated forequarter, still a little narrow in chest development, good topline and slope of croup, short hocks and low set tail. Somewhat uneasy in his hind movement but I expect this will improve as he matures.
2. SHELTASTIC KISS MY SHORTS
Another quality puppy although not the head quality of the winner, lacking in stop and a little round in eye. Good forequarter construction, deep chest, well ribbed with good slope of croup well angulated hindquarter and short hocks
JUNIOR DOG
1. YASDNIL YOU HAD ME AT HELLO
Well boned balanced down to size young dog, correct head planes, good underjaw, ears a little unsettled, good fitting coat, well angulated fore and aft correct slope of croup, short hocks, good tail set.
2. ARAJENTO BRUSHED WITH GOLD
Another well coated young dog. A little too deep in stop and full in eye, Good reach of neck, well angulated forequarter good topline and slope of croup with lovely long low set tail. I would prefer a little more strength of bone and overall masculinity.
INTERMEDIATE DOG
1. CH. HARTLY HOW ABOUT ME
Very pretty heavily coated gold sable dog of correct size. Good head planes correct stop, eyes a little round, good ear set and lovely reach of neck. Good topline well angulated front and rear.
2. CH. JMEL MAMBO
Very workmanlike tri dog. Somewhat short in backskull and deep through with too much brow giving a forward facing rounder eye. excellent front and rear angulation correct size with lovely bone, good topline and well let down hocks. Tail a little high set
3. NIGHTWOOD MONSTER MASH
Well coated, stylish young boy who was quite unsettled on the day. Pleasing expression however has a somewhat sliding stop and would prefer more underjaw. Moderately angulated forequarter and well angulated rear but just not comfortable giving his best on the day.
STATE BRED DOG
1. CH. SHELTASTIC THE ILLUSIONIST
Correct size well boned shaded sable with lovely head quality, beautiful obliquely set dark almond eyes and neat ears. Well angulated front and rear and very confident on the move with good reach and drive. Would prefer just a little more neck to complete the picture
2. WHOAMI NO REGRETS
A slightly larger stylish boy with good head quality and pleasing expression. Neat very mobile ears. Lovely reach of neck, moderately angulated front and rear and slightly long in loin. Lovely temperament and a real showman.
AUSTRALIAN BRED DOG
1. IFONLY FOR THE MEMORIES
Very glamorous heavily coated sable with lovely round muzzle correct stop and flat skull although eyes could be more almond shaped. Somewhat steep in shoulder.Lovely reach of neck, a little long in loin, correct slope to croup and long low set tail. Would prefer a little more hind angulation.

1. SUP CH. SHELTASTIC EAT MY SHORTZ
Very appealing correct size and very stylish dog who is a real showman. Very good head planes, correct stop, lovely dark and correctly set almond eyes and neat mobile ears combining to give a very sweet expression. Lovely arched neck with well angulated forequarter level topline, good slope of croup and nicely angulated hindquarter. This boy moved confidently with good reach and drive. His nicely fitted coat completed the picture and it was a pleasure to award him Best Exhibit in Show.
2. CH. KISMET SO UWANT TSEE TH WIZARD
Very masculine quality dog with good eye shape correct head planes and pleasing expression although a little deep in backskull, Moderate front angulation, level topline, slightly long in loin, well angulated hindquarter. A little uncomfortable moving and favouring one hind leg on the day.
3. LOWICK GOLD BRAID OF MILESEND (Imp U.K.)
Correct size sable with nice round muzzle and flat skull, a little too deep in stop and somewhat rounder in eye. Neat nicely set ears. Good forequarter construction, lovely reach of neck, level back, a little steep in croup and tended to move wide behind.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH
1. SHELTASTIC I WANT CANDY
Well balanced correct size sable girl. Would prefer a little more stop and more oblique eye set. Excellent front angulation, beautiful arched neck, level topline, correct slope of croup and nicely angulated hindquarter with well let down hocks.
2. TIAKINA THRO CAUTION TOTHWIND
Taller but very elegant quality young blue merle. Good head planes and eye shape and set, adequate stop, a little wide in ear set, good forequarter construction and lovely reach of neck. Level topline, a little long in second thigh and inmature in hind movement.
3. NIGHTWOOD STEP INTO THSPOTLITE
Down to size sable girl with nice round muzzle, flat skull with correct stop, however a little round in eye, adequate front angulation level topline and nicely angulated hindquarter and well let down hocks. Temperament let her down on the day.
PUPPY BITCH
1. NIGHTWOOD CAUSE I SAID SO
A very glamorous down to size and elegant sable girl with excellent head quality and beautiful sweet expression. Well angulated forequarter good reach of neck and level topline. Good hindquarter construction low set tail and well let down hocks. This girl came very close to taking reserve challenge.
2. AERTEN BLINDED BY THE LIGHT
Larger well boned sable girl with, good eye shape, flat skull but a somewhat sliding stop. Ear set a little unnatural. Good forequarter construction, level topline, a little straight in stifle and tended to crab on the move
JUNIOR BITCH
1. CH SHELTASTIC SPEAK NO EVIL
Very stylish and alert sable girl with good head planes, correct eye shape and neat very mobile ears. Correct forequarter construction, lovely reach of neck, level topline and moderately angulated hindquarter with well let down hocks. Tail a little short. Unfortunately she was very out of coat on the day.
INTERMEDIATE BITCH
1. ARAJENTO GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY
Very elegant sable girl with good head proportions correct stop and pretty obliquely set almond eyes. Neat well set ears but very reluctant to use them. Well angulated forequarter lovely reach of neck, deep chest and level topline. Well angulated hindquarter and low set tail. Uneasy on the move as she was not happy on the day, and really did not show her best.
2. NIGHTWOOD BALLROOM BLITZ
Very compact down to size sable girl. A little short in head with too deep a stop, eyes a little round. Neat mobile ears, well angulated forequarter, a little short in neck, deep chest, level topline and well angulated hindquarter Confident on the move.
STATE BRED BITCH
1. CH. ARAJENTO RAISE THE TEMPO
Very well balanced sable girl expertly shown in full bloom. Very good head qualities with correct stop and sweet expression well angulated fore and aft with well sprung deep ribs and level topline. Correct slope of croup and well let down hocks with long low set tail. Beautiful to watch on the move.
AUSTRALIAN BRED BITCH
1. CH HARTLY CONSTANT COMMENT
A very stylish well boned sable girl with pleasing expression although slightly strong in head. Well angulated forequarter with lovely elegant neck, well sprung deep ribcage, level topline and nicely angulated hindquarter. A little unsure of herself on the day.
2. ARAJENTO APPLAUSE A PLENTY
Another very elegant sable girl. Would like a little more strength in muzzle and not so deep in stop. Correct shape well set eyes and neat ears. Good forequarter construction, lovely long elegant neck, level topline and well constructed hindquarter with long low set tail.
3. WHOAMI CANT DENY IT
Another quality down to size sable girl in this very strong class. Good rounded muzzle and flat skull but separated by a somewhat sliding stop. Dark well set almond eyes and neat ears, adequately angulated front and rear with level topline and well let down hocks.

1. CH. AMBERMOON COME WHAT MAY
An absolutely gorgeous down to size sable girl with outstanding head quality and the sweetest melting expression. This girl just oozes femininity! Beautifully balanced front and rear angulation, elegant neck, level topline low set tail and neat little short hocks, and just beautiful to watch on the move. It was a pleasure to award her Challenge bitch and Runner up to Best Exhibit in Show

1. NEUT CH. NIGHTWOOD I GOT BLING
Excellent head quality with a very sweet expression beautiful long arched neck excellent forequarter construction level topline and well angulated hindquarter. This girl would have held her own in any of the normal classes.
I would like to thank the Club for inviting me to judge your lovely Shelties and for the hospitality afforded me during my stay. Your dogs were all very well presented and expertly handled and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Although styles varied somewhat in some classes due to the obvious introduction of North American bloodlines the depth of quality was admirable and I found the dogs on the whole to be very moderate and of good type. There were good quality exhibits throughout the age classes which indicates the breed is in good hands in W.A.
