MATCH WON BY: Warwickshire

Our first home match of the season saw the team meet Warwickshire at Bicester GC. This was the first County match to be held at Bicester and most of the team hadn’t actually played the course before.

The morning foursomes score reflected this as we lost two out of the three games – we later realised that the Warwickshire players had all played there the week before!

The afternoon singles went right to the wire with us needing to win the last hole in the last match to win overall. Unfortunately one putt too many on the last hole saw us half the singles three all and lose the match by 5-4.

A really close game hard fought by all the team. A special mention to Sophie who won both her morning and afternoon games.
