Accommodation / There is no on campus residence, but we provide housing services and we even help you finding your private accommodation.
ACCOMMODATION FORM
The majority of universities and business schools have no student residences and no accommodation on campus as ISC. Then housing will be one of your priority.
Two options:
option A: searching housing on your own
option B: to obtain assistance from our services.
Option A :
Due to a major increase of foreign students we receive, we would strongly recommend you to start with option A. This way you will get familiar with housing procedures in Paris. Different addresses and possibilities are suggested in the International Student Handbook and you can even book a place by Internet in some of the indicated residence/foyers...
The International Student Handbook is available on our Intranet MyIsc.com
Option B:
In that case, the international department can assist you, but you should be aware that you may need to stay in a hotel for a few nights upon arrival in Paris (up to two to three weeks) while looking for accommodation. For option B: fill out the housing form you have received with the application package and send it back along with your application.
Please be precise when filling the attached form and fill all the blanks.
Things to consider for housing:
- Paris is an expensive city. The monthly average rent is about 650 euros.
- The rent does not include electricity and heating (about 35/45 euros/month)
- When signing a contract, you will legally be asked to pay the first month rent + 1 month deposit (this deposit will be given back to you when leaving)
- You will also be asked to pay for a housing insurance (about 20 euros/year)
- Read carefully the Student Handbook for more information!
IMPORTANT:
For both options, please send back “page 6” along with your application.
I don’t need help with housing:
I prefer to search housing on my own.
I already have a French address, it is:
I would need assistance with housing (fill out the form below, be precise, fill all the blanks and give us any additional helpful information).
