A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Dominik Bonano.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Dominik Bonano, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano was born in 1988, and he prematurely traversed these earthly bounds at the tender age of 17; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano was the loving son of Joseph and Sabina Bonano; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano demonstrated his talent and dedication to sports by his tenacious play as a varsity basketball player at John Hardin High School; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano earned the admiration and respect of all those who came in contact with him; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano managed to touch the lives of almost all his classmates, in a heartfelt and positive manner; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano would reach out to anyone that needed him, according to all his many friends; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano's smile could brighten the room with only his smile; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano never met a stranger and always sought to include all around him in the doings of his life and the activities of life around him; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano was said "...to live every day to the fullest"; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano was taken from his family and friends in a tragic single-vehicle accident; and
WHEREAS, Dominik Bonano, even in death, thought of others by having signed his driver's license to be an organ donor ; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Dominik Bonano has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Dominik Bonano, and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Dominik Bonano.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Senator Elizabeth Tori, 2851 South Wilson Road, Radcliff, Kentucky 40160.
