CAM’s third annual 5K event; Saturday, September 27, 2008

The run/walk will start at 8:00 AM and we will have registration open at 7:00 AM in front of the museum. The museum is located at hangar #602 on south J Street, Forbes Field. (Two blocks south of the terminal)

We would like to have participants register in advance if possible. We have placed registration forms at most local Fitness Centers and Sport’s Bars and below.

The registration fee is $20.00 before the Saturday race, at which time we will have a $2.00 late fee. Please note that Sunflower Striders are entitled to a $2.00 discount on the early entry fee.

All event participants will receive a beautiful t-shirt and free admission to the museum. We will also give each participant a $1.00 off card good for up to four regular admissions on a single visit to the Combat Air Museum.

Medals will be earned by the top three female and male participants in each five-year age classification. (Example; 10 – 14, 15 – 19, 20 -24 etc.) The new CAM designed medals are unique in that they are a 2” sneaker with an airplane wing attached. The ribbon is a beautiful red, white & blue flag design.

We will have a prize for the overall top female/male participants. Other prizes will be determined by a drawing for all participants at the end of the race. We usually have lots of prizes, but we are dependent upon businesses for donations.

Please help us make this Charity Benefit for the Combat Air Museum a big success by registering soon and we would like to thank you in advance.
