Good morning, grateful Dragon Scholars. As we stand for the moment of silence let us do so in a spirit of gratitude to the relatives of our NHS Faculty, Staff, and Students who have protected us and our freedom by serving in the United States Marines, who celebrated their 240th birthday on Tuesday, November 10th: Cesar Gonzalez, Zac Selden, Josh Porter, Israel Pedroza, Maria Sanchez, and Eugene Hodges.

(silence) Teachers, please verify that students are in dress Code. Send students who do not have on their IDs to the nearest AP Office. And now the pledges.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for ALL.

And now the Texas flag. Honor the Texas Flag. I pledge Allegiance to Thee, Texas, One State under God, One and Indivisible.
