2. OTHER AWARDS
a. Athletic Director of the Year
Selected by member institutions’ Athletic Directors for outstanding achievement throughout the school year.
1. Selection
a. Conference office submits ballots with names of all Athletic Directors;
b. AD’s forward their votes to the Conference Office for tally.
b. Commissioner’s All-Academic Team
Consists of twenty (20) student-athletes, ten (10) on the first team and ten (10) on the second team, as voted on by the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association. Student-Athletes must have completed one full academic year at a CIAA institution, earned a minimum 3.2 overall grade point average, and been a starter or an important reserve in a CIAA sanctioned sport.
c. Jeanette Lee Athletic Achievement Award (Commissioner’s Award)
An Athletic Director is selected by the Commissioner for outstanding athletic administration and achievement for their athletic program for the year.
d. John Holley Sports Information Director of The Year
Selected by member institutions’ Sports Information Directors for outstanding achievement throughout the school year.

e. C.H. Williams All-Sports Trophy (Men)
Indicative of excellence in men’s championships. Determined by a point system for achievement in all of the institution's men's programs.
1. Selection
a. Selections are based on championship place finishes for each sponsored sport.
b. The number of sports sponsored for each sport will determine the number of points distributed amongst those teams.
Example: 12 points are distributed amongst the 12 institutions that sponsor basketball.
c. 50 bonus points will be given to each institution that sponsors football and 10 bonus points will be given to each institution for all other sponsored sports.
d. The C.H. Williams All-Sports Trophy will be awarded to the institution with the most combined total points for all sponsored sports.
f. Loretta Taylor All-Sports Trophy (Women)
Indicative of excellence in women’s championships. Determined by a point system for achievement in all of the institution's women's programs.
