Conference Call Notes – 4/20/10

Meeting Minutes

Ø  Greg Obenchain kicked off the call by welcoming all participants

Ø  Greg O. went over IEEE rules for the call and asked about patent issues.

Ø  After reviewed, meeting minutes will be posted on the public side of the Mentor site.

Ø  Greg O. – group has basically two documents that we are working on – DCN 52 and DCN 64

Ø  Greg O. reiterated the fact that we need input on the DCN 52 document by “experts” in their field.

Ø  Cheong S. said that he wanted to review the list again after others had placed their input in it.

Ø  Greg O. asked about any other discussion on the DCN 52 and if we wanted to start to go over the list item by item now or wait. The group wanted to wait.

Ø  Greg O. then asked about updating the DCN 64 document and if we wanted to take a stab a updating. The group agreed that it should be done and Cheong agreed to be the point person on it.

Ø  Joe K. then asked about the equipment spreadsheet and if we were shooting at future state or present state of the equipment in the list.

Ø  Cheong S. asked Joe K. to send him any updates that he may have on DCN 52.

Ø  Greg O. asked everyone to get any comment in by April 28th so they could be included in the writing group.

Ø  Cheong S. gave out his email address so everyone could send him comments on DCN 52 and 64.

Ø  Next face to face meeting will be in Santa Clara. Look at www.connectivityweek.com for more information.

·  Do we have to register for Connectivity Week to attend the P2030 meetings? Greg will send Bill Ashe an email and get some clarification.

Ø  Greg closed the call and asked us to please turn in the required work on DCN 52 and DCN 64.

Ø  Jason H. will email out the meeting minutes to the members of the call and also post it on Mentor.
