Meeting Minutes
March 8, 2009
Present: Jill Arens (Baseball), Julie Longstreet (Boys Basketball), Glenda Vidmar (Girls Basketball), Nancy Larkin (Cross Country), Toni Althoff (Dollars for Scholars), Debbie Damberg (Hockey), Russ Lewis (Girls Soccer), Jeanne Berglund and Ron Winterhalter (Girls Softball), Millie Snyder and Chuck Charnstrom (Boys Swimming), Deb Kraemer (Girls Swimming), Jean Kopp (Tennis), Mike Lindquist (Boys Track), Mitch Rue (Girls Track), Pete Dubay (Wrestling)

Secretary Report:
· February 2009 Minutes approved.
· Report at April meeting regarding stake holder shares
Financial Report:
· Financial Report was Approved.
Old Business:
Program Jackets
· Not always at games. Coordinate with Coaches/reps/Joe Haas to ensure the jackets are at the tables at every event. Invite Joe Haas to a meeting?
Meat Raffle
· Sales are going well. The suggested starting times are 5:30 pm at Dave’s Town Club on Friday’s and 6:30 Wednesday, 7:00 pm Thursday and Saturday at the Bowling Alley.
· Tennis and Volleyball: 3/13, 14, (also had 3/4, 5, 6)
· Basketball: 3/18, 19, 20, 27, 28
Applebee’s Fundraiser
· The Booster Club will be the beneficiary of the 4/18/09 Applebee’s Breakfast. 8:00 am – 10:00 am. Be there by 7:45
· 6-8 workers are needed. Millie and Toni will work at the door.
· The goal is to have the tickets to pre-sell by ?? and to have the Spring sports teams handle selling these tickets.
· Tickets are $5 each, the food cost averages $150-$200, Booster receive the net.
Furnace Filters
· On hold-Bobby Crofutt not in attendance
· Bobby Crofutt will look into the details of acquiring the filters with the idea the booster club would sell them in September/October 2009.
Harlem Ambassadors
· Still getting info.
· Glenda Vidmar will be looking into the specifics of having an event in the early Fall of 2009.
Pocket Calendars
· On hold.
Delanopoly Game
· Email will go out to the group again.
· A committee needs to be formed.
· Finished product goal 4th of July 2010
Schwann’s Fundraiser
· Jeanne Berglund to check on April 25 or May 6

Promotion of Fundraisers
· Wanda Bingea confirmed that we can advertise the events on the Booster area of the district site
· Newspapers: Continue to place in Eagle and Herald Journal
· Each rep should have a team/parent roster distribution list to make sure word gets out to all team members, coaches and parents. Encourage them to pass it on to their friends and families.
New Business:
Dick Sports coupons on event tickets
· We should look into this
Booster web page on School site
· Keep meeting minutes, stake holders, Fundraiser calendar and other events updated
New stake holder for the 2009-2110 year (April – April)
· Girls Hockey has confirmed interest in the Booster club and being included on the program jackets.
· It was pointed out that other co-op teams work well within the group and all team members tend to help out because they know they are benefiting. It is up to each rep/team to ensure the level of fundraising participation from their team and to have a rep at each meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 pm. The next meeting will be Sunday, April 5th at 7:00 pm.
