This role offers you the opportunity to become involved in both the fun and the serious business of raising money for Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns; Sport Relief and Red Nose Day.
You will be supporting the Fundraising and Partnerships team on tasks such as researching exciting new business opportunities, sourcing fundraising case studies, helping to organiseUK and international project visits for our Corporate Partners, and will have the opportunity to undertake varied project work as required to help maximize our fantastic supporter’s fundraising.
You will be in the thick of the campaigns by supporting our incredible fundraisersby managing enquiries about fundraising and Corporate Partnerships from the public. As you will be the main port of call for fundraisers across the UK, you must be comfortable providing thehighest standards of customer care and effectively dealing with internal queries.
You will also provide general and varied administrative support to help us achieve our fundraising objectives.
This important role’s responsibilities will evolve over the calendar year and work on different projects through the life-cycle of each campaign. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Administrative support /
  • Assist the team with administrative support as required e.g. logo requests, projects, trips, getting input and approval on pieces of work.
  • Set up meetings and write notes and minutes and follow up as requested.
  • Coordinate any team meetings and communication.
  • Undertake any appropriate work as delegated by the Fundraising and Partnerships, Public Fundraising Manager,and team.

Public Enquiries /
  • Manage public fundraising and partnership enquiries to the best possible standard of customer care.
  • Work with the other colleagues across the organisation, and other temporary resource in campaign, to manage queries from the public.
  • Ensure timely responses to all enquiries and complaints, flagging any specific issues that may arise.
  • Record and maintain data on relevant CRM and Comic Relief databases.
  • Fulfill any logo or Fundraising Agreement requests from the public.
  • Work closely with the inbound communications team to develop general enquiry responses.
  • Help develop FAQs to aid public fundraising.

Specific Projects and Support /
  • Aid fundraising campaign staff to source fundraising case studies to feature across campaign marketing materials.
  • From time to time, undertake various pieces of project work on behalf of the team to provide support on a specific piece of work, activity, relationship or event, for example researching new business opportunities, organising the telethon hospitality requests for the team, and helping to getfundraising materials signed off by stakeholders.
  • Assist our brilliant big-scale business fundraisers with their online fundraising page administration, their merchandise bulk-ordering scheme and be a fantastic contact between account managers and those external stakeholders.
  • Help organise events, meetings and activities that are relevant to partnerships and fundraising.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience
  • Experience of working in a team essential.
  • Experience of communicating with the public and/or corporate contacts and managing enquiries essential.
  • Experience of using MS Windows (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) and databases essential.
  • Experience of working as an administrator or assistant desired.
  • Experience of organising events desired.
