Preparing For Adult Life – Level One and Two

Who is it for?

Young people, parents, carers and professionals across Education, Health, Social Care and other partner agencies involved with the transition planning of young people with additional needs preparing for adult life.

Duration:This is a one day training session spilt into two parts. Attendees can choose either one or both sessions.

Course Details – What does this training include?

Part One: Awareness training– The purpose of this session is to provide a basic understanding of transition planning and the law.

Start time:10:00 – 11.30

Duration: 90 minutes

Part Two: Workforce Development training – The purpose of this session is to promote the legal duties and responsibilities across a multi-agency network of professionals.

Please note interested parents/carers and young people are most welcome to attend either or both sessions.

Start Time:12.00 – 13.30

Duration:90 minutes

Conclusion:13:30 – 14:30
