Hardware Installation

Note: Supports Windows 7/Vista/XP.

  1. Connect the pico receiver to a USB port of a PC or notebook.
  2. Make sure that you have turned on the power switch.

Software Installation

  1. Put the CD into the CD-ROM.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the software installation.
  3. After installation, you’ll find the ioMedia icon in the taskbar.

ioMedia Software

The Ring Mouse is factory preset for the mouse function. There are two modes you can select when needed, Presenter and Media Center control. You can change the mode by clicking on the icon in the UI display.

Set: Save the setting.(※)
Exit: Exit from ioMedia.
OK: Save the setting and exit from ioMedia. (※)

※Note:

(1).After you select each mode, the button function will not change immediately. You can still move the cursor and execute the left and right button.

(2).When all modes are set, you can press and hold Button 2 for three seconds to select the mode needed. You can see for mode selected in the icon display on the bottom right hand side of your screen (only when driver is installed).

(3).When you change the mode each time, the taskbar will show in the message bar to remind you.

Ring Mouse Function

Mouse Mode

 / Touch control panel lets you control the cursor you’re your
thumb tip.
The left mouse button function when pressed down.
Drag: Press button 1 for three seconds and move with thumb tip to drag the icon or file.
 / Change to Scroll function of mouse to scroll up or down, press again to return to cursor mode.
 / Provides traditional right button functions.

Media Center

 / Touch control panel lets you control the cursor you’re your
thumb tip.
The left mouse button function when pressed down.
 / Press down to play music, movie or picture, press again to pause.
 / Press the button to exit from the scene.

※ Note: This mode works underMedia Center.

Presentation

 / Touch control panel lets you control the cursor you’re your
thumb tip.
The left mouse button function when pressed down.
 / Press down to previous page of Power Point.
 / Provides traditional right button functions.

※Note: This mode works in Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
