Permission Slip for Choral Competition

Dear Chorus Parent/Guardian,
The Matawan-Aberdeen Chorus will be participating in the Music in the Parks Festival on Friday, May 29, 2015. Transportation for the trip will be provided by school bus, which will leave the school at approximately 10:00 AM and return to the school at 8:00 PM. You must make arrangements to pick up your child at this time. Your child can phone you from the bus if we are running late. As there are 261 students attending, I would suggest you carpool, as the front parking lot will get extremely crowded at pick-up time!
Our first stop is Jackson Liberty High School, NJ for our adjudicated performances, beginning at 11:15. We will head over to Six Flags at approximately noon. Parents may attend the adjudication but no children are permitted.
Students are required to bring a bagged lunch with no glass bottles. We will be eating lunch on the bus before we enter the park. Students should bring money to purchase snacks/dinner, as we will be there until 7:00 PM.
Students will wear the t-shirt provided to them and blue jean shorts of appropriate length. Any child who is improperly dressed will not be able to sing with us at the competition.
Students are expected to exhibit proper behavior at the competition and at the park.
Please return this form with payment no later than 3/27. Cash or checks made out to: MAMS Student Fund. Students will not be permitted to attend without a permission slip on file.

Mandatory After School Rehearsals: 5/27 and 5/28 ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND ALL REHEARSALS. ANYONE NOT IN ATTENDANCE and 6/2 ON 5/27 AND 5/28 WILL NOT GO TO COMPETITION.
