ETS ParaPro Assessment Information

Polk County Schools has partnered with Florida Southern College in administering the ParaPro Assessment through the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

General Information:

  • Pre-arranged sessions must be scheduled through PCSB Office of Certification. DO NOT call Florida Southern College.
  • All examinees will start at the same time to limit distractions and maintain a quiet atmosphere
  • No more than 8 test-takers per session
  • Scratch paper will be provided
  • Sessions will begin at 8:30 AM
  • Total cost: $65.00 - by money order only (due at the time of testing). Two separate money orders – 1 for $45.00 (Test Fee) made out to Polk County School Board and 1 for $20.00 (FSC Admin.Fee) made out to Florida Southern College. No cash or personal checks are permitted.

ETS has developed a practice test and study guide for test takers to prepare for the Assessment. The free Test at a Glance (PDF) and other useful tips are also available.

Please note that the passing score for our district is 464. The ETS Center will send your test results to you within 4-6 weeks.
