SCHOOL RULES
The purpose of the meeting was to revisit the main item on the agenda of the last meeting which was School rules. Everyone thought that the suggestions that students had made were very good but realised that some were more important than others. The Council still felt that some rules were more classroom rules and others were essential for the whole school if we were to have a safe and happy school environment.
Bullying was still the topic that aroused the most passion amongst the group and everyone thought that there ought to be ZERO Tolerance and stricter consequences when people bullied other students.
After a lengthy discussion the School Council realised that their ideas were still quite negative and mainly consisted of must not do statements and decided that short positive rules were better and that SCHOOL RULES OUGHT TO BE DISPLAYED IN CANTEEN AREA AND ON SCREENS, ETC
