Requirements for changing the WSP Disposition Data Exchange for clearer reporting on Deferred Sentence and Pre-Trial Diversion/Stipulation on Continuance cases that use the Other Deferral Finding and Judgment code.

The possible situations have been outlined below. Each lists what is entered in JIS and what should go to WSP at different phases of each situation.

Situation one – Defendant enters a guilty plea and the sentence is deferred for a period of time. No jail time is imposed. At the end of the time period, if all conditions are met, the charge is to be dismissed. This case is dismissed.
