This Form is for use by anyone proposing to conduct research at Scope (including requests to distribute information about the research to potential participants or communicating with them about the research).
The information provided on this form is used to determine whether or not organisational approval can be given to the research. Organisational approval is based on:
- The impact, risk, benefit, and relevance of the research to Scope (including the people we support, staff, and volunteers);
- Alignment to the Strategic Plan and Research Plan;
- Budgetary considerations; and
- Resources required.
You will be notified in writing about the outcome of the review.
Please note!
- Research cannot be conducted without organisational approval.
- Organisational approval is an essential pre-requisite to applying to Scope’s Human Research Ethics Committee for ethical approval.
