Duties:

·  Pass out papers for the teacher.

·  Distribute and collect books.

·  Be sure the gray cabinet is near before you leave.

·  Be sure all materials (dictionaries, tapes, etc.,) are put away before you leave.

TRAINERS

Duties:

·  Help new students. Give them the rule sheet and ask them the comprehension questions in the training book.

·  Help anyone who doesn't know how to use the equipment.

Duties:

·  Empty the 3-hole punch and the pencil sharpener before you leave.

·  Help teacher with the equipment. Bring the overhead projector to the front, plug it in, and pull down the screen when the teacher is ready.

·  Set up CD player/tape recorder when the teacher is ready.

·  Arrange desks and chairs before the break if necessary.

FILE CLERKS

Duties:

·  Check the students' file folders before you leave class. Be sure all folders are filed in alphabetical order by last name.

ATTENDANCE and BOARD CLERKS

Duties:

·  Be sure everyone signs in by 10:00

·  Erase the board.

·  Take down all papers that are hanging on the wall in front of the room. Put them on the top shelf of the orange cabinet, behind the teacher's desk.
