S1-S4 Christmas Dances. The Christmas dances will be held this week. Wednesday for S3’s and Thursday for S4’s. As always students will be released from their P4 class at 12:30 to allow them time to get changed for the dance and get some lunch. A tuck shop will be available at the dance so please remember to bring along some pennies for some festive treats.

Christmas Parties – In preparation…… Students must not bring in or use hair straighteners or hair curlers/crimpers etc in school. These have not been tested for electrical safety and may be a hazard. (KJG)

Farmers Market- 1 MORE SLEEP!!!! The farmers market is happening TOMORROW in the Hall! Don’t forget to bring some money there at lots of stalls with lots of tasty treats on offer!! ! Please can teachers escort and stay with pupils at the allocated times below. THANK YOU!!!

Hockey Club: A very Merry Christmas to all hockey clubbers and thank you for your dedication this term- we have had some great hockey on display! Please note club has now finished for 2016. Keep an eye out in the bulletin in the spring time for the launch of hockey again. Many thanks (SS)

Don’t miss Christmas Book Bits Today – When a fabulous festive reading event begins in the library at lunchtime. Mrs Reynolds, from the Modern Languages department, will read from A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig, both today and tomorrow. This is a tale of snow, kidnapping, elves and a story that’s magic. It all begins at 1.20pm.

Prelim Exam Arrangements There will be special assemblies for S4-6 pupils on Monday the 19th of December to finalise prelim arrangements and issue individual prelim timetables. S4 pupils should report to class period 3 and then be accompanied by their teacher to the assembly hall. S5 and S6 pupils should report to their period 4 class and then be accompanied to the hall. These can be bought on the day or be delivered to a person of your choice during the last week of term. Please bring along 50p for a candy cane or get 3 for £1.
