Cleaning out the closets for the holidays and need a place to bring all the toys your children do not use anymore? The Successful Beginnings program is looking for gently used puzzles, books, games, videos and toys to use in the classroom for families in the Haynes community. WREATHS AND POINSETTIAS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP AT THIS EVENT!
This event offers holiday shopping for your Haynes' student. We have gifts for everyone at very affordable prices - all shopping items are $1.25! Also available: Face Painting .50, tattoos .50, crafts, coloring pages, and Frosty's Cafe (all items .50) 4th grade "elves" will be on hand to help your students with their shopping. Come enjoy a morning of affordable holiday fun! Parents/guardians are required to stay.

PTA Meeting on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. will be in the Library. We will be discussing and voting on how we will be allocating funding for enrichment next school year, 2009-2010. The teachers attending will be our Grade 4 teachers. All are invited!!

TOY DRIVE—(this is still continuing, please support if you are able):
For this holiday season, the Lillie B Haynes Goodwill team are collecting presents for the Women’s Center of S.E.CT
Currently at the center are boys and girls ages infant through 17 years who would appreciate your generosity. So, please, if you are able, donate a gift that would surely brighten the holiday for these children. Monetary donations are also welcomed and will be used to purchase gift cards for the children to spend for themselves.
Collection will run from November 24th to December 19th. The collection box will be in the entrance lobby of the school. If you have any questions please contact me at lisa.moysey @hotmail.com or 739 7040.
