My name is Kim. I am from the Cayman Islands, I am currently enrolled in the University of the Cayman Island and Penn foster online course, I majored is in accounting. I enrolled in the certificate program doing bookkeeping and so a few years later, I decide to move forward and enter into the associate degree program in accounting.

I was born in the Cayman Islands live in a small area, called George Town and attended the Cayman Islands high school and then the community college, which is now called the University of the Cayman Islands, due to my working hours I decided to enroll in the Penn foster online course, doing the associate degree in accounting. One of my goals in life is to finish my associate degree in accounting, the more education you have, the easier life should be, I really believe in that saying I do believe the more educated you are, the more successful you will be in life, education is the key to success, not knowing if it would be easier, but I am sure it will get me a better paying job.

I spend 30 years of my life in the small village of Georgetown in the Cayman Islands; the island is very beautiful, tax free, beautiful beaches and full of nature. I am married and I have two wonderful boys age six and ten years old, my husband and I share most of the responsibility within the home and our two boys. Working during the days are normally busy for my husband and I, we both go by a daily schedule that seems to work well for us; who will take the boys to bask ball, swimming or help with school work.

My sons are into sports everything or anything that has to do with sports, my sons will take part in, it's really hard some time to make it to the boys game, between schooling and working it do get really hard at time to be able to make it to every game for each child. It is very important to myself and my husband to get to the boys game or parent meeting, recognizing what is taking place in our child's life is important, before you know it, they will be entirely grown up, while they are still kids we want to spend as much time we can with them, most time they do not understand why my husband and I are busy or why we cannot take family trips or be at every game.

Being a mother do come with great responsibility within the household, making certain the boys manage with their homework, cooking, cleaning, and making sure everyone is happy within the household. Concentrating on my household and school work does possess a portion of pressure most of the time, and sometimes it is stressful trying to make everyone happy, but at the same time I try to get time for myself and work on getting, class assignment completed on time can be a challenge and sometime stressful.
