Poster presentations will be from noon to 1:00 pm on Wednesday May 10, location TBA (but somewhere close to Factor). Presenters will need to bring their posters to the location the day prior, or before 9AM on the 10th. Please make sure a member of the research team is available at the poster during this time. This session aims to promote discussions among presenters and viewers. Lunch will be provided.

CALL FOR POSTER ABSTRACTS

ANNUAL UCLA NURSING RESEARCH DAY

FOR STUDENTS AND FACULTY

ELIGIBILITY:Students and faculty are encouraged to submit abstracts. Both completed and in-progress projects are acceptable and may include quantitative, qualitative, instrument development, basic science, and quality improvement or clinical practice or educational project evaluation methods.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:

  1. Emailyour abstract together with your submission.
  1. The abstract may not exceed 350 words.
  1. Abstracts will be evaluated based on the quality of the following areas;

Please use the headings that FIT your type of project:

A. Problem statement

B. Purpose and/or hypothesis and/or objectives

C. Theoretical/conceptual framework (where applicable)

D. Methods (for quantitative research describe design, sample/sampling, instruments, procedure, analysis; for qualitative research and quality improvement, clinical practice or educational projects describe the methodology/procedure)

E. Final or preliminary results

F. Interpretations, conclusions, implications for nursing
