Some Playing Rules for Boys 7-a-side games
Duration of matches: Under 8 League: 15 minutes a half; under 9, under 10 and under 11 Leagues: 20 minutes a half
Throw-ins and Kick-ins: For Under 8 and under 9, a Kick-in is taken from the sideline while for under 10 and under 11, a Throw-in is taken from the sideline.
For under 8 and under 9, the Goalkeeper may kick the ball out of his/her hand when the ball has gone wide.

The under 8 Fun League continues in a Blitz format this weekend on Saturday. There are 2 Blitzes at 2 different venues (each having 2 pitches) as follows:
Blitz No 1 @ AstroTurf Pitch, Ballymahon starting @ 10:30. Ballymahon Lions, Ballymahon Tigers, Newtown, Melview Cubs
Blitz No 2 @ AstroTurf Pitch, Drumlish Community Centre starting at 10:30. Gaels United, Ballyboro, Stonepark, Kenagh Falcons
As Blitzes are very dependent on all teams being present, there are 2 teams on stand-by in case any of the Blitz teams are unavailable.
