This driver training course is approved by the NYS Education Department Traffic Safety Unit and The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. The 48-hour course includes:

ê 24 hours of in-car instruction including 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction and 18 hours of in-car observation time

ê 24 hours of classroom instruction

Students are assigned to drive one day a week and to attend lecture one day a week. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate, which may allow a reduction in your insurance. This program is administered in cooperation with an area auto school.

REGISTRATION IS EASY

Go to sunyulster.edu/ce and register online. The Application/Consent Form on the back of this flyer must also be completed and submitted with your registration. Orientation is held to outline the objectives of the course and finalize the students’ driving time.

Students will not be allowed to ride the late bus as this is not a school sponsored activity.
