1. Purpose of the DOCUMENT
1.1. Aim and contents
This guide for the implementation of publications is intended for highly-modulated sites using TRANS@ctions and the file exchange channels.
The aim of the document is to explain the interactions between processes and data exchanges in the form of files.
1.2. Limitations
This document is not intended to present:
· The functioning of GRTgaz’s internal management processes (only the process stages visible to highly-modulated sites are explained),
· Navigation in the portal (explained in the portal user guide),
· A description of the publications service, the common rules for all publications, security considerations, technical information, a description of the content (these points will be covered in detail in the technical guide).
1.3. Useful information for understanding the document
1.3.1. Publication and exchange channels
1.3.1.a) TRANS@ctions portal
The TRANS@ctions portal is a tool made available to GRTgaz customers to allow them to manage their transmission services on the GRTgaz transmission system. Via the HMI, the portal can be used to search for, consult and download the files relating to the publications.
The user may search for publications: Searching returns a list of publications sorted by default according to the publication reference, with each publication containing the following information:
· Publication reference (also a link for viewing the document)
· Publication type
· Publication date
· Data start date
· Data end date
· Link to CSV and XML files
When searching, the user is offered all of the files that have been published.
1.3.1.b) FTP channel
The FTP platform makes files (CSV and XML) available to B2B users (TRANS@ctions IS / Highly-modulated site IS exchanges).
The FTP transmission solution provided by GRTgaz allows highly-modulated sites to recover data directly using their IS without going via the TRANS@ctions portal (only for publications for which no Edig@s format exists).
1.3.2. Alert mechanisms
The alerts indicate the messages issued by the TRANS@ctions IS applications that are to be sent to the highly-modulated sites. They are intended to warn them of a particular event that has appeared in the system.
They can receive alerts by e-mail (generic and personal), by fax, or consult them by connecting to the portal.
Users can manage their alert subscriptions on the portal and configure their alert channels.
1.3.3. Mapping conventions
This section presents the various icons used in the guide.
2. Reminder of the application scope
2.1. Summary description of the application scope
The points affected by these processes are PLCd.
Highly-modulated sites can send their hourly consumption profile declarations, both daily and weekly, on one or more PLCd, via different channels.
· By manually entering them on the portal,
· By downloading a declaration file from the portal. In this case, an integration report is displayed on the portal in the form of a pop-up window,
· By using an Edig@s message. Consistency checks are run when the message is received, which may result in the declaration being rejected. A functional acknowledgement of receipt is sent to the highly-modulated site specifying whether the message has been accepted or not.
When one or more declarations are created, the modulation indicators are calculated for the declaration or declarations created.
A declaration entered manually on the portal cannot be rejected: the HMI used and the associated surface checks prevent inconsistent entries.
Only declarations made via files can result in rejection, which may take two forms as outlined in the diagram below:
· If the blocking (consistency) checks are “KO”: no declaration is created in the system
· If the blocking (consistency) checks are “OK”, but there are one or more errors on a line in the declaration, the declaration is rejected. Once the declaration is rejected, it can no longer be changed. The user will need to submit a new declaration, with the option of reusing part of the rejected file to form the file corresponding to the new declaration.
At any time, the highly-modulated site can resubmit a new declaration, either in the event of a shortage of flexibility announced on D-1 with the obligation to re-declare as defined in the contract, or when it wants to adjust its consumption profile, subject to the required notice period. This redeclaration is possible whether or not the previous declaration is technically feasible or not, or even if GRTgaz has not yet responded to that previous declaration.
On the portal, a highly modulated-site can access:
· A summary of the highly-modulated site’s status, with a single screen showing the flexibility shortage indicators and the response to the most recent declaration for all PLCd managed by the user.
· The content of the most recent declaration and the associated response
· A record of the declarations in a gas day
· A record of the responses for a declaration
· The pop-up of the response content
· The required notices period for modifying the intraday profile
· The stress indicators
· Alerts
Hourly profile differences are calculated after the end of the gas day on the basis of:
· the hourly allocated quantities
· the most recent versions of the hourly profile declarations
The following modulation indicators are calculated:
· Modulated volume (VTM), corresponding to the difference between the quantity of energy and the average daily value (expressed in kWh at 25°C)
· Residual modulation amplitude (Ar), corresponding to the maximum daily variation in the equivalent modulation profile (expressed in kWh at 25°C)
· Modulation duration (M), corresponding to the duration of the modulation in the equivalent modulation profile (expressed in minutes)
The Hourly Profile Adjustment Statements may be provisional, definitive or adjusted.
2.2. Alerts
2.2.1. Alerts relating to the hourly consumption profile declaration process
2.2.1.a) “Rejection of a B2B declaration with impossibility of creation” alert
A process checks the consistency of the file sent via Edig@s message.
If the checks are KO and it is impossible to create a declaration, an alert is sent to the highly-modulated site.
2.2.1.b) “Declaration creation rejected following a B2Bdeclaration” alert
A process checks the consistency of the file sent via Edig@s message.
If the checks are KO and processing creates rejected declarations, an alert is sent to the highly-modulated site for each of the reject declarations.
2.2.1.c) “GRTgaz’s response to a declaration” alert
An alert is issued for each response by GRTgaz to a declaration. It is sent by e-mail or by fax. The alert contains a link to the portal page.
2.3. Publications
More details on provisional, definitive and adjusted allocations are provided in the guide on allocations and balancing.
2.3.1. Provisional Hourly Profile Adjustment Statement
Publication and contents / Published on day D+1 every day until the end of the month. Its contains all of the hourly profile differences, provisional allocations, the most recent profile declaration, as well as modulation indicator values from the 1st day of the month to day D.
2.3.2. Definitive Hourly Profile Adjustment Statement
Publication and contents / Published once at the beginning of month M+1 following approval of the definitive allocation. It contains all of the hourly profile differences, definitive allocations, as well as the most recent profile declaration for the gas days in month M.2.3.3. Ajusted Hourly Profile Adjustment Statement
Publication and contents / Published in month(s) M+n following approval of adjusted allocations. It contains all of the hourly profile differences, approved adjusted allocations (for gas days affected by an adjustment) and definitive allocations (for gas days not concerned by an approved adjustment), as well as the most recent profile declaration for the gas days in month M.
