Scholarship Information
Listed below are scholarship opportunities. Please see your counselor or visit the website listed if you are interested in applying for any of these scholarships.
1. TSTC will award the Texan Success Scholarship to a student new to TSTC enrolling in fall of 2016 for the first two consecutive semesters. The total award will be up to $1000. This is a “non-need based” scholarship and will be awarded as part of student’s total financial aid award. Please contact Ian Robertson at .
2. The Raquel Andrea Zipprich Annual Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a senior who is a member in good standing of the Wylie Belles with a 90 or above cumulative GPA and planning to pursue higher education. The application can be found in the counseling office and should be turned in there by May 2, 2016.
3. The Wylie Choir will award a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is currently a member of the Wylie High School Choir. Application can be found in the counseling office and should be turned in there by April 18, 2016.
4. The Spencer LaBrie Memorial scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who is involved in athletics during high school with an average grade of at least 85. Student should have positive leadership skills and be determined, hardworking, humble and helpful. The deadline is May 13, 2016. Application can be found in the counseling office and should be turned in there.
5. The Jennifer Turner and Sabrina Turner Coffman Scholarship Fund will award a $1000 scholarship to a Wylie High School graduation senior. The purpose of the award is to provide financial assistance to a deserving student who exemplified leadership and academic success while at Wylie High School through participation in student activities as well as maintaining an above average grade point. The deadline is April 15, 2016. Application can be found in the counseling office and should be turned in there.
6.The Texas School of Cosmetology will award two $300 scholarships. Please see Mrs. Sandifer if you are interested. The deadline is May 2, 2016.
