NAVY CHILDREN SCHOOL 104 AREA
ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER2016
1. KG PTI: - On 2nd Dec KG PTI meeting wasconducted. The teachers disclosed the performance of the child and gave necessary suggestions for the betterment of their child.
2. Primary PTI:-The primary had their PTI on 7th Dec. The parents were shown the performance of their wards in the worksheets and the grades awarded to them. Necessary feedback was given for the betterment of the children.
3. World Aids Day :-On 8th Dec the school has observed World Aids Day to bring awareness about Aids and its preventive measures. Children spoke on the importance of the day and several placards were displayed spreading the awareness on how to avoid the disease.
'Avoid the scare...... be aware.'

4. Annual Day Celebrations(KG):- The KG wing celebrated annual day on 15th Dec. the theme for their year was "Chromatic Camaraderie".. Allure in Affinity. Projecting the colours of rainbow the children looked vibrant and quirky in their outfits. The chief guest of the day was Mrs.VijayaSrinivas group co-ordinator Cuddles and Aashirwad. The annual report for the year was read out by the Headmistress NCS 104 Area. It was a show of sequential dances displaying the colours of Rainbow. The highlight of the program was when all kids performed for a peppy song forming a "VIBGYOR". The tiny dazzling daffodils swayed in tune to the beats and mesmerised everyone. The chief guest appreciated the incredible effort of the children. The parents were allured by the awesome presentation and left enchanted.
5. Annual Day Celebrations(Classes I – X):- With a title 'Dexterous Spree'.... the knack unveiled, the annual day celebrations of the Primary and Secondary wingscame forth on 15th Dec to disseminate the musical magic through the audience. The school decked itself with florescent lights and colourful decorations. The program started with the address of the Principal NCS (VZG) followed by reading out of the annual report by the HeadmistressNCS 104 Area. Prize distribution was held for the students who were judged Best Enterprising and Best Endeavour for showcasing their academic excellence were felicitated by the Guest of Honour-Mrs.P.Lakshmi. The students who secured 10 CGPA in the academic year2015-16 10th class board examination were awarded trophies in recognition to their splendid academic performance. The Chief Guest of the day was Cmde PK Mohan, VSM with several other dignitaries. The children left the audience spell bound with their exuberant dance forms of different countries. Their resplendent costume and sequential synchronization enthralled everyone. The chief guest appreciated the students for their prodigious performance and artistic adroitness. The audience were mesmerised and trumpeted applauds.
6. Guest Lecture: On 17th Dec a guest lecture was organised on "Medical problems related to teaching profession, treatment and prevention" by Surg. Cdr P.Anand, OAC, SHO to all the staff of NCS. It created awareness on several issues relating to teaching profession.
7. Certificates of appreciation to teachers: On 19th Dec a special meeting was organised to award the certificates of appreciation to teachers who have put in their concerted effort and resolute in bringing out extraordinaryperformance of the children in Central Board of Secondary Examination for the academic year 2015-16. Two of our teachers stood to satisfy the criteria of selection and received the certificates of appreciation from the Director, NCS (VZG)
8. PTI: PTI meeting was conducted for classes VI – X on 21st Dec to disclose the result of FA-3. Parents turned up in large number and teachers gave the necessary feedback about the performance of their ward.
9. National Energy Conservation Day– A special assembly was conducted on 22nd Dec to observe the National Energy Conservation Day. Children spoke about the importance of the day. A mime show was performed on the theme of conservation of energy which was appreciated by everyone. Children displayed placards bearing slogans.
Save energy, save planet.
Energy conserved is life preserved.

10. KG Christmas and New YearCelebrations :-On 23rd Dec the KG celebrated the Christmas festival and welcomed the New Year well in advance in a special assembly. One of the teachers explained the importance of the day to the kids. Children sang selected carols with felicity. A dance was performed as a welcome sign to the baby Jesus with great charm. Children dressed as Santa Claus spread bliss and warm fuzzies. The whole atmosphere was vibrating with the warm wishes of Merry Christmas and New Year extended to each other.
