The Workshop

This is the second of a series of Workshops that focus on practical skills and techniques for improving life satisfaction at every age and stage. Adopting a secular and cross-cultural approach and drawing on Eastern and other sources of human experience and wisdom through the ages, this second Workshop will provide a brief overview and will focus on the following selected topics: mindfulness techniques; the power of acceptance; acting on purpose; and improving our relationships.

TEACHER

Loraine Rickard-Martin is certified by the Todo Institute (Vermont) to teach Methods of Japanese Psychology. She retired from the United Nations in 2009 as a Senior Political Affairs Officer in the Security Council Affairs Division of the Department of Political Affairs and is a Lecturer on United Nations sanctions at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, New York.
