Macomb County Youth Law Enforcement Academy

This is for high school students interested in pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice field. The academy will be held on Monday afternoons from 4:30 – 7:00pm on November 6, 13, 20, & 27. Voice of Democracy Competition ~ Open to students in grades 9-12. The Voice of Democracy is the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ (VFW’s) premier scholarship program. The theme for this year is American History: Our Hope for the Future. To apply, record your original 3-5 minute essay on a standard cassette tape or CD on this year’s theme. AXA Achievement Scholarship ~ The AXA Achievement Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high schools seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. National Co-Op Scholarship Program ~ Students are encouraged to apply for the ninth annual National Co-op scholarship.
