Call to Order: 7:30 pm
President: Peggy advised that there is rain in the forecast and we will message everyone by 8am if games are cancelled. Games will not be made-up. Fields are being lined now as we speak. Division 2 plays at 10am, after your game away team move goals. We need to conserve as much paint as possible. Peggy will go back into schedule to fix games that were scheduled at 12pm. Referees are new, please be patient with them. There is a small chance that games from this week could be rescheduled. Senior games will have a 2 referee system for a few weeks. We contacted New Jersey Youth Soccer about possibly getting an “F” license class for the club. Travel tryouts April 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th, boys tryouts are Saturday and Girls on Sunday. Players need to register for tryouts on the website. Costs will be going up to $400 per year, must pay 1st $200 by the end of June. Registrations will be available on-line May 1st. If your team is not registered as a team your will be submitted to the league. Fall season practice shirts will be given to all travel teams. T-shirts must be worn at all practices. We are looking to start new U-8 boys and girls teams. Must be a true U-8 player and can’t play up in the age group. Rob Sparks might be starting a new U-8 girl team.
General Secretary: Lynda advised that picture night is Monday April 24th, the same company we used last season. They are working on a schedule right now. We will be in the A cafeteria over by the tennis courts.
Travel:
Boys: Jeremy advised that there was nothing new from the league.
Girls: Terry advised that there was nothing new from the league. Advised to make sure you know where your players are. If a parent takes them make sure you are told.
Treasurer: Stephanie advised that the sheet is self-explanatory, blue sombrero is not broken down by deposit and withdraws. All travel teams are current. Everything is balanced. Referee fees are more because we have more divisions.
Recreation Soccer: Steve advised that the trash schedule is out for everyone.
Recording Secretary: Keith advised please take care of the trash and pick-up after your team and others. Keep the fields clean.
Peggy advised that tryouts- no playing up unless currently playing on that team. No playing up by more than 2 years. Any new players should be playing age appropriate. Girls should be on girl teams. Terry asked for an e-mail blast for tryout information. We will be putting signs up for tryouts. All travel teams have home games thisweekend, we will try not be cancel the games. New 7 v. 7 field location. The 11 v. 11 field is in the corner along the Kennedy lane parking lot. 2- 7 v. 7 fields this year. Chris asked about training schedule and he was advised by Peggy that the schedule was sent. All meeting are at the Browns Mills Library.
