Developed research program and provided geotechnical support for Occidental's geothermal exploration and development. Work involved petrographic analysis of well-cuttings from geothermal areas, sinter andscale characterization, and assessment of well-bore damage.

Designed program of rock:water interactions studies and oil shale characterization for assessment and mitigation of environmental problems associated with Oxy's in-situ oil shale retorting program.
