Course Description
This course is designed to provide the final year dental student with a basic knowledge in the fundamental principles of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. There is a special emphasis on the management of maxillofacial injuries and fractures. The management of cleft lip and palate patients and other craniofacial abnormalities will be assessed including different osteotomy procedures. Advanced surgical procedures for implany dentistry will be given.and advanced pre-prosthetic surgery as well as orthognathic surgery and osteotomies.
