Interim Dean of GulfCoast, May-October 2003 (position was eliminated due to campus restructuring). Directed all academic operations of a campus consisting of 5 divisions, 67 full time faculty and 2200+/- undergraduate and graduate students, reporting to the campus Provost. Supervised the daily work of division chairs, academic support staff, and clerical staff.

$56,000 grant to study several economic questions relating to the Mississippi Gaming industry, funded by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Economic Development Council. Sole PI. Funding date: November 2001. Final report released April 30, 2002. Major findings and recommendations presented to the Mississippi Legislature.
$6000 in-kind grant to conduct an addendum to the Mississippi Gaming Study, funded by Decision Scientific, LLC, of Gulfport, Mississippi. Sole PI. Funding date: October, 2001. Final report released on February 28, 2002.
$200,000 grant to study gaming in Mississippi, funded by the State Legislature through the state's Institutions of Higher Learning. Research Director and co-PI. Funding date: May 1999. Final report given to IHL in June, 2000. Major findings and recommendations have been presented to the Mississippi Legislature for the 2001 session, as well as to International, National, and Regional conferences.
